Quick verdict: MetaQuotes cut off grey-label MT5 access for most prop firms in 2024, and a lot of “best MT5 prop firm” lists online are still running on stale data. These 10 firms either kept a broker-backed MT5 setup or rebuilt one on their own license. Each has a live FundedTrading discount code, verified against the firm’s own site as of July 2026.

Every code below is pulled straight from FundedTrading’s live discount page and re-checked at the point of publishing.

How This List Was Built

MT5 support in prop trading is not stable. MetaQuotes tightened licensing on grey-label MT5 setups starting in 2024, and firms that could not secure their own license or a broker partnership dropped the platform entirely. We checked each firm’s own site, platform page, or help center directly rather than trusting third-party directories, since several of those still list firms that quietly removed MT5 months ago. Every firm below also carries a live FundedTrading affiliate link and discount code, verified against the current prop firm discount codes page on the date at the top of this article. If you also trade on other platforms, our best cTrader prop firms and best TradeLocker prop firms guides cover the same ground for those platforms, and our prop firm comparison tool lets you check any two firms side by side.

1. FXIFY

PlatformsMT4, MT5, DXtrade, TradingView
Account sizes$5,000 to $400,000
Profit splitUp to 90% on CFD, up to 100% on eligible crypto plans
BrokerFXPIG, Alchemy Markets

FXIFY runs MT5 through a broker-backed setup, hosted in the Equinix LD4 data center in London. That matters for MT5 traders specifically, since a lot of firms bolt MT5 onto a generic liquidity feed instead of a dedicated execution partner. As of mid-2026 FXIFY runs seven programs across CFD and crypto (Instant Funding, Instant Funding Lite, Lightning, One Phase, Two Phase, Three Phase, and two crypto-specific paths), with MT5 available on the CFD lineup and accounts scaling up to $4,000,000.

FXIFY won FundedTrading’s Best Broker Backed Prop Firm 2026 and Best 2 Step Challenge Prop Firm 2026 awards. Rules differ noticeably between its seven programs, so confirm the exact rule set for your chosen plan before buying.

Read the full FXIFY review for the complete rules and pricing breakdown.

Pros

  • Dedicated broker-backed MT5 execution, not a generic bridge
  • Up to 90% profit split with the upgrade
  • 300+ tradable instruments
  • Scaling up to $4,000,000

Cons

  • Base leverage on FX and gold starts lower at 30:1
  • 3-step evaluation option takes longer to reach a funded account

Best for: traders who want MT5 backed by dedicated broker infrastructure rather than a shared platform license.

2. FundedNext

PlatformsMT4, MT5, cTrader, Match-Trader
Account sizes$6,000 to $200,000
Profit split80%, up to 95% with add-on
ProgramsStellar 1-Step, 2-Step, Lite, Instant

FundedNext lets traders launch MT5 directly from its dashboard instead of switching between separate apps, and MT5 runs on the firm’s own GrowthNext server infrastructure for lower latency. The current CFD lineup is Stellar 2-Step, Stellar 1-Step, Stellar Lite, and Stellar Instant, with a 15% challenge-phase reward paid automatically on Stellar 2-Step and 1-Step at your first funded payout. Scaling can push a funded account up to $4,000,000. In July 2026 FundedNext also removed its 70% margin rule and cleared existing violations across all accounts.

Read the full FundedNext review for challenge pricing and drawdown detail.

Pros

  • MT5 launches directly from the FundedNext dashboard
  • Up to 95% profit split
  • Large, established Trustpilot review base
  • Scaling up to $4,000,000

Cons

  • Discount code on this firm is smaller than most others on this list
  • Lower account sizes start at $6,000, higher than firms with $5,000 entry points

Best for: traders who want a well-established brand with MT5 dashboard integration and a large public review history.

3. Alpha Capital Group

PlatformsMT5, cTrader, DXTrade, TradeLocker
Account sizes$5,000 to $200,000
Profit split80% analyst performance fee
BrokerACG Markets

Alpha Capital Group has the broadest platform lineup on this list, MT5 sitting alongside cTrader, DXTrade, and TradeLocker under its own broker partner, ACG Markets. The firm’s evaluation runs Alpha One, Alpha Pro, Alpha Swing, and Alpha Three plans, with no time limit on any of them. Its own help center flags a 2-minute average trade duration rule, so traders who scalp in and out in seconds will find MT5’s execution speed doesn’t help them here.

Alpha Capital also holds one of the larger public Trustpilot profiles in prop trading, at 4.7 out of 5 from more than 19,000 reviews as of a May 2026 check.

Read the full Alpha Capital Group review for the full rule breakdown and payout process.

Pros

  • Four platforms including MT5, more choice than most competitors
  • No time limit on any evaluation plan
  • 4.7 Trustpilot rating from 19,000+ reviews
  • Multiple payout methods including Wise, Rise, and bank transfer

Cons

  • 2-minute average trade duration rule rules out tick scalping
  • On-demand payouts require a 40% best-day cap plus 2% gross profit
  • No direct crypto withdrawal

Best for: traders who want the widest platform choice and a firm with a long public review track record.

4. E8 Markets

PlatformsMT5, cTrader, Match-Trader, TradeLocker
Account sizes$5,000 to $500,000
Profit splitUp to 100% on E8 One
Paid out$74M+ since 2021

E8 Markets runs its MT5 platform through a Saint Lucia-registered entity, E8 Markets Ltd, separate from the US entity that handles the rest of the business. Its flagship E8 One product is a 1-step evaluation where you set your own drawdown between 4% and 14%, plus a profit split up to 100%, on Forex/CFD and Crypto markets. E8 Zero, launched in July 2026, drops the consistency rule and trailing drawdown entirely for a simpler, static-drawdown ruleset, though MT5 isn’t part of that specific product’s platform list.

The firm holds a 4.3 out of 5 Trustpilot rating from more than 3,272 reviews, with more than $74 million paid out since 2021.

Read the full E8 Markets review for the complete product comparison across E8 One, Pro, Signature, and Zero.

Pros

  • MT5 available across Forex/CFD and Crypto markets
  • Up to 100% profit split, selectable at purchase on E8 One
  • On-demand payouts with no fixed waiting period
  • $74M+ in verified payouts since 2021

Cons

  • Best-day rule (35–40%) trips up traders who pass on one or two big news trades
  • News trading banned in a 5-minute window around Tier 1 events on E8 One funded accounts
  • MT5 not available on E8 Zero or the Futures market

Best for: traders who want a customizable drawdown and split on MT5, and who can spread profit across multiple trading days instead of one big session.

5. Blueberry Funded

PlatformsMT4, MT5, TradeLocker, DXtrade
ProgramsPrime 2-Step, 1-Step, 2-Step, Instant Elite, Instant Lite
Profit split80% on most programs
RestrictedUS, Australia, and several other countries

Blueberry Funded’s Instant Access Sim accounts confirm MT4, MT5, TradeLocker, and DXtrade as available platforms. It’s backed by broker Blueberry Markets, which runs its own MT5 infrastructure rather than leasing a white-label setup, and the firm added CFD stock trading through MT5 and DXtrade in 2025, giving MT5 traders access to over 1,000 stock instruments alongside the usual forex, metals, and index CFDs. US and Australian traders cannot buy a Blueberry Funded account.

Worth knowing before you buy: Blueberry Funded’s Trustpilot profile currently shows a rating-unavailable notice tied to a guideline-breach flag, while still displaying more than 1,500 underlying reviews. That does not confirm a payout problem, but check the current Trustpilot status yourself before funding a large account.

Read the full Blueberry Funded review for the complete rule set.

Pros

  • MT5 confirmed across every evaluation type, including a dedicated MT5-only 3-Step
  • Broker-run MT5 infrastructure via Blueberry Markets
  • 1,000+ CFD stocks added in 2025
  • Highest discount on this list at 40% off

Cons

  • Profit split tops out at 80%, lower than several firms above it on this list
  • Multiple platform options can mean thinner MT5-specific documentation than single-platform firms

Best for: traders who want the biggest discount code on this list and confirmed MT5 access on every evaluation route.

6. Maven

PlatformsMT5, cTrader, Match-Trader
Account sizes$2,000 to $100,000, scaling to $1,000,000
Profit split80% flat, does not scale up
Leverage75:1 forex, 20:1 metals and energy

Maven’s MT5 story is worth knowing before you buy. MetaQuotes’ 2024 crackdown on grey-label prop firm setups forced Maven to pull MT5 entirely for months. The firm secured its own brokerage license through Maven Trade Ltd in Saint Lucia and brought MT5 back on its own infrastructure, not a rented one. MT5 is not available to traders in the US or Canada. Traders can scale an account to $1,000,000 with a minimum 10% net gain over four months.

Read the full Maven review for challenge pricing and platform detail.

Pros

  • MT5 runs on Maven’s own license, not a third-party broker
  • Buy Now, Pay Later challenge starts for $5
  • Scaling up to $1,000,000
  • Swap-free accounts available

Cons

  • MT5 not available to US or Canadian traders
  • Smallest discount code on this list at 10% off
  • Newer entrant with less review volume than established firms

Best for: traders outside the US and Canada who want low-cost entry and MT5 on a firm’s own license rather than a leased broker deal.

7. FunderPro

PlatformsMT5, cTrader, TradeLocker
Account sizes$5,000 to $200,000
Profit split80%, up to 90% with add-on
Drawdown10% static, no trailing

Like Maven, FunderPro lost MT5 to the 2024 licensing shake-up and reintroduced it in mid-2025 on its own infrastructure. It’s not available to US traders, who are routed to cTrader or TradeLocker instead. Drawdown is static across all challenge types, 10% overall with no trailing component, which is a real differentiator against firms where the loss limit tightens as your balance grows.

Worth knowing before you buy: FunderPro’s Trustpilot page received a consumer warning label in January 2026 after a wave of suspicious one-star and five-star reviews, alongside a June 2026 CEO change (Tim Plummer replacing co-founder Gary Mullen). FunderPro states it’s cooperating with Trustpilot’s Content Integrity Team on the fake-review cleanup. The product mechanics still hold up, average payout time is around 8 hours, but confirm current trust signals before funding a large account.

Read the full FunderPro review for the complete trust-signal timeline and payout rules.

Pros

  • MT5 restored on FunderPro’s own infrastructure in 2025
  • Static 10% drawdown, no trailing component
  • ~8-hour average payout time
  • Classic challenge has no consistency rule

Cons

  • January 2026 Trustpilot consumer warning over fake review activity
  • MT5 not available to US traders
  • Payout-denial complaints tied to IP overlap and lot-size disputes

Best for: traders who want static drawdown and fast payouts on MT5, and who trade from a single device and connection without VPNs.

8. Funded Trading Plus

PlatformsMT5, cTrader, Match-Trader, DXtrade
Account sizes$10,000 to $200,000
Profit split80%, up to 100% with add-ons
ProgramsInstant Funding, 1-Step Express, 2-Step Classic

Funded Trading Plus offers MT5 on all three of its current programs, Instant Funding, 1-Step Express, and 2-Step Classic, though 2-Step Classic restricts you to MT5 or Match-Trader only. MT5 isn’t available to US traders, who use Match-Trader or DXtrade instead. The firm won Best Instant Funding Prop Firm 2025 at the Funded Trading Awards and holds a 4.4 Trustpilot rating from roughly 2,650 reviews.

Read the full Funded Trading Plus review for the full program breakdown.

Pros

  • MT5 confirmed across all three current programs
  • No time limit or minimum trading days on any program
  • Named CEO who replies to Trustpilot complaints directly
  • Won Best Instant Funding Prop Firm 2025

Cons

  • Payouts go through a discretionary risk review, not automatic release
  • MT5 not available to US traders
  • Higher split, faster payouts, and bigger scaling are paid add-ons

Best for: traders who want MT5 across multiple program types (instant, 1-step, or 2-step) from one firm with a named, responsive CEO.

9. The5ers

PlatformsMT5, cTrader (added 2025)
Account sizesStarts at $5,000, scales to $4,000,000
Profit split50–80% starting, up to 100% at scale
CountryIsrael

The5ers has run on MT5 since 2016, routed through institutional liquidity rather than a pure demo simulation, but it stopped being MT5-only in 2025 when it added cTrader for algo and depth-of-market traders. It runs three CFD programs: High Stakes (2-step, 6% trailing drawdown, blocks trading 2 minutes either side of high-impact news), Hyper Growth (instant funding, 6% static drawdown, news trading fully allowed), and Bootcamp (3-step, cheapest entry, leverage capped at 1:10). In 2026 it also launched a Futures arm for US-eligible traders, running on a separate proprietary platform rather than MT5.

The profit split scales to 100% at higher account milestones, and at the $350,000 account level The5ers adds a flat $4,000 monthly salary on top of the split, a structure most other firms on this list don’t offer.

Read the full The5ers review for phase-by-phase rules.

Pros

  • 10 years running MT5 on institutional liquidity, not pure demo simulation
  • cTrader now available alongside MT5 for algo traders
  • Profit split reaches 100% at documented scale milestones
  • $4,000/month fixed salary unlocks at the $350K account level

Cons

  • High Stakes blocks trading in a 2-minute window around news events, on both evaluation and funded stages
  • Bootcamp leverage capped at 1:10, the most restrictive program on this list
  • No fast scaling path; milestones require sustained performance over multiple periods

Best for: traders who want MT5 on institutional-grade execution and are building toward a long-term funded career rather than a quick challenge flip.

10. Instant Funding

PlatformsMT5, cTrader
Payout speed24 to 48 hours
Profit splitUp to 90%
Awards8 industry awards, including Fastest Growing Firm

Instant Funding runs MT5 alongside cTrader across its three risk categories, including a 24-hour trading cycle product with a 3% net profit target and a 90% profit split, plus a no-evaluation option that scales the account 2x for every 10% gain up to $1.28 million. Daily drawdown on the fast-cycle product is 2%, with a 4% static maximum.

Read the full Instant Funding review for all three risk-category breakdowns.

Pros

  • MT5 available on both evaluation and no-evaluation products
  • Fast 24 to 48 hour payout speed
  • No-evaluation path skips the challenge entirely
  • Scaling to 2x account size for every 10% gain

Cons

  • 24-hour cycle product’s best-trade cap (15% of total profit) requires disciplined position sizing
  • Newer brand relative to firms with a decade-plus track record

Best for: traders who want a fast payout cycle on MT5 and are comfortable with either a short evaluation or skipping it entirely.

FAQs

Do prop firms still support MetaTrader 5?

Some do. MetaQuotes restricted grey-label MT5 access for prop firms starting in 2024, which forced firms like Maven and FunderPro to remove MT5 for months before rebuilding it on their own broker license. Always check the firm’s own platform page rather than a third-party directory, since MT5 availability has changed multiple times across the industry since 2024.

What is the best prop firm for MT5?

FXIFY and FundedNext both run broker-backed MT5 setups with large account ranges and established review histories. Alpha Capital Group and E8 Markets offer the widest platform choice alongside MT5. The right pick depends on your account size, region, and whether you want the platform on its own license (Maven, FunderPro) or through a broker partnership (FXIFY, FundedNext, Alpha Capital).

Is MT5 available to US traders at these firms?

Not always. FunderPro and Funded Trading Plus both restrict MT5 to non-US traders, routing US clients to cTrader, TradeLocker, DXtrade, or Match-Trader instead. Maven also excludes MT5 for US and Canadian traders. Check the exact country restriction on the firm’s own site before buying if you’re trading from the US.

Can I use Expert Advisors (EAs) on MT5 prop firm accounts?

Most firms on this list allow EAs, but with conditions. E8 Markets requires each trader to use a single unique strategy, since identical EA patterns across multiple accounts can trigger a review. Always check the firm’s specific EA and algorithmic trading rules before deploying one, since a permitted EA on one firm’s funded account can still be flagged if it resembles another trader’s setup.

Why do some prop firms only offer MT5 on certain account types?

Platform availability at several firms depends on the market you choose at checkout. E8 Markets lists MT5 for Forex/CFD and Crypto, but not for its Futures market or its E8 Zero product. Funded Trading Plus restricts MT5 to specific programs. Confirm platform availability for your exact account size and market before purchasing, since it can vary within the same firm.
