Drawdown

Max drawdown trails on End-of-Day balance until it reaches the initial balance, then becomes fixed. No trailing while in profit.

Daily Pause

Instead of a hard daily loss limit, breaching the daily amount freezes the account until 16:05 CT next trading day. Breaching Daily Drawdown does NOT fail the challenge.

Consistency Rule

45%/40-50% rule: if daily profit exceeds ~45% of target the excess is added to target; applies on funded highest-profit day too.

Copy Trading

Allowed across challenge and funded accounts.

Rewards / Payouts

Profit >=$200 on 5 trading days (non-consecutive OK) to get paid. After 3 rewards, daily withdrawals unlock; request a reward every $100 at 80% split. Up to 90% split.

Multiple Accounts

Up to 5 funded accounts at once; unlimited passed challenges held in stand-by.

Position Auto-Flattening

All positions flattened at end of each trading day (no rollovers).

FunderPro Futures Review 2026: Rules, Fees, Payouts and Daily Pause

Quick verdict: FunderPro Futures is a Malta-registered futures prop firm built around the Daily Pause on funded accounts: hit your daily loss limit and the account freezes until the next session instead of shutting down outright. EOD trailing drawdown locks at your starting balance once you are in profit. The Beginner challenge runs a 40% consistency rule, which is more forgiving than the 30% rule at Apex, and charges no activation fee, only a monthly subscription starting at $79. The catch: the parent brand's Trustpilot score sits at 3.9/5 with a climbing 1-star count, and the futures division is comparatively new with a shorter independent payout track record than established competitors.

What Is FunderPro Futures?

FunderPro Futures is a futures prop firm that funds traders to trade CME, COMEX, NYMEX, CBOT, and EUREX instruments using the firm's capital. It is the futures division of FunderPro Ltd., a Malta-registered company (C 104558) that also operates a separate CFD prop firm at funderpro.com, covered in our own FunderPro review. Several third-party sources report the futures arm launched in December 2024, though this is not confirmed on FunderPro Futures' own site.

The site's primary published product is the Beginner challenge, a 1-phase evaluation. You pay a monthly subscription, trade a simulated futures account, hit a 6% profit target without breaching drawdown rules, and move to a funded account. As of July 2026, Beginner accounts run from $50K to $150K, with fees from $79 to $219 per month and no activation fee. The site also lists Mid-Level and Professional tiers, but their specific rules sit behind an interactive tab that this review could not fully verify. Check the live pricing table for those tiers before buying.

What makes the Beginner challenge different from My Funded Futures, TradeDay, or Earn2Trade comes down to three things: no Daily Pause during the evaluation but a Daily Pause on funded accounts (your funded account does not fail if you hit the daily loss limit), EOD trailing drawdown that locks once it reaches your starting balance, and a 40% consistency rule that is looser than the 30% rule most competitors enforce.

Third-party trade publications report the parent company paid out $21.5 million across 14,058 payouts in 2025 across its CFD operations, a figure not independently confirmed against an official FunderPro disclosure. Real payouts clearly do reach some traders. But the Trustpilot profile for the parent brand has seen a steady climb in negative reviews through 2026, mostly around payout denials linked to IP disputes and KYC flags. If you are evaluating FunderPro Futures, the product design is solid. The open question is execution on payouts.

Only 10.14% of traders who purchase a challenge pass to the funded phase. FunderPro Futures publishes this number on their homepage. That is actually good practice. Most prop firms hide it.

Challenge Accounts and Pricing

The Beginner challenge, the primary product shown on the FunderPro Futures homepage as of July 2026, offers three published account sizes. All three follow the same 1-phase evaluation with a 6% profit target and identical rules. The only differences are buying power, drawdown thresholds, and monthly fee. The site also references Mid-Level and Professional tiers as separate tabs, which likely carry their own account sizes and terms, but this review could not independently confirm those figures. Confirm current Mid-Level and Professional pricing directly on funderprofutures.com/how-it-works before purchasing.

$150K$219$015 Std / 150 Micro$9,000 (6%)None$4,500 (3%)$189
No activation fee on Beginner: There is no activation fee to unlock your funded account on the Beginner challenge. The $69, $129, and $189 figures above are optional reset fees, charged only if you choose to reset a failed evaluation instead of waiting for the next monthly renewal. Confirm whether Mid-Level or Professional tiers carry a different fee structure before buying into those.

The subscription renews monthly on the same calendar day. If you fail and do not cancel, a new account is issued at renewal. You can reset your account any time during the challenge for the reset fee shown above. Resetting keeps your remaining challenge days. For example, resetting after 3 days leaves you with 27 days.

The challenge duration recurs monthly rather than running against a fixed deadline within the month, which removes the pressure of a hard countdown clock some competitors enforce.

How the consistency rule affects your target

During the Beginner evaluation, a 40% consistency rule applies. If your best trading day accounts for more than 40% of the profit target, the excess gets added to your target at 16:00 CT. So on a $50K account with a $3,000 target, if you make $1,500 in one day (50% of target), the amount above the 40% threshold ($1,200) gets added to your target. Your new target becomes $3,300. This does not fail your account. It just extends how much profit you need.

On funded accounts, the consistency rule shifts to 50% and applies to your highest profit day relative to your total payout request. A separate 45% rule governs individual reward requests specifically, covered in the payouts section below. Do not confuse the two.

Drawdown and Risk Rules

FunderPro Futures uses EOD trailing drawdown. The max drawdown trails upward based on your end-of-day balance, not intraday equity. Once the drawdown floor reaches your original starting balance, it locks permanently and stops moving. Intraday swings do not affect the floor. This is a major advantage over real-time intraday trailing drawdown at firms like Apex Trader Funding, where an unrealized gain can permanently raise your loss floor even if the trade reverses.

Daily Pause (Funded Accounts) On funded accounts, hitting the daily loss limit auto-closes positions and freezes the account until 16:05 CT the next day instead of terminating it. The Beginner evaluation itself does not include a Daily Pause. During the challenge, exceeding the daily loss limit is a standard breach.
EOD Trailing Drawdown Trails up based on end-of-day balance only. Locks permanently at your starting balance once reached. The $50K account has a $2,000 (4%) max drawdown. The $100K and $150K accounts have a 3% max drawdown.
Consistency Rule 40% during the Beginner evaluation (your best day cannot exceed 40% of the profit target). 50% on funded accounts. Excess is added to your target, not a breach. Looser than the 30% rule at Apex and TradeDay.
Position Auto-Flatten All positions are flattened at the end of each trading day. No overnight holds. No need to worry about rollovers or gap risk. This is enforced automatically.

Additional rules

News trading is restricted within a 2-minute window before and after scheduled high-impact economic events. EAs and algorithmic trading are allowed. Scalping is allowed. Copy trading is permitted between your own accounts only. Martingale strategies are allowed. You can hold up to 5 funded accounts at the same time. 30 consecutive days without trading results in account termination.

Daily Pause does not cover the evaluation: The Beginner challenge explicitly excludes the Daily Pause during the evaluation phase. It applies once you are funded. If you are trading the evaluation, treat the daily loss limit as a hard breach, not a pause.

Platforms and Instruments

FunderPro Futures runs its order execution through Rithmic, which is the standard execution backbone for most CME-connected futures prop firms. Front-end platforms as of July 2026 include DeepCharts, DeepMap, ATAS, and Quantower.

The firm covers five major exchanges: CME, COMEX, NYMEX, CBOT, and EUREX. That gives access to 50+ instruments including E-mini S&P 500 (ES), E-mini NASDAQ 100 (NQ), Micro E-mini S&P 500 (MES), Micro E-mini NASDAQ 100 (MNQ), crude oil (CL), gold (GC), and micro Bitcoin (MBT). Standard and micro contracts can be mixed on the same account. One standard contract equals 10 micros.

Market data costs

Level 1 (Top of Book) CME data is included free for all users. Additional market data upgrades are purchased through the dashboard:

Data PackageCoverageMonthly Cost
L1 Top of the BookCME onlyFree
L1 Market Data BundleCME, COMEX, NYMEX, CBOT$12
L2 Single ExchangeCME, COMEX, CBOT, or NYMEX$16
L2 Market Data BundleCME, COMEX, NYMEX, CBOT$41
EUREXEUREX$23

All market data purchases expire at the end of the calendar month regardless of when purchased. Budget for $12 to $41 extra per month if you trade instruments outside CME.

Payout Rules and Profit Split

Two profit-split figures on the same site: FunderPro Futures' Beginner tier description states an "80% reward share from day one." A separate rewards breakdown on the same page describes a tiered structure: 60% on the first reward, 70% on the second, and 80% from the third onward. Both statements appear on the live site as of July 2026 and were not reconciled by FunderPro Futures at the time of writing. Confirm which applies to your account type before you rely on either figure.

First 3 rewards

To request each of the first three rewards, you need at least 5 trading days with a minimum of $200 in profit per day. These days do not need to be consecutive. Your most profitable day must be equal to or less than 45% of the reward amount you are requesting. This 45% rule governs reward requests specifically and is separate from the 40% evaluation consistency rule covered above. Reward requests are processed the same day according to the firm.

After 3 rewards

From the fourth reward onward, you can request daily withdrawals for any amount above $100, with no other rules applying at that stage.

Payout methods include crypto and Rise. There is no recurring fee for funded accounts. On the Beginner tier, the monthly subscription stops once you pass the evaluation, since there is no separate activation fee to pay first.

Scaling plan

FunderPro Futures includes a scaling plan on funded accounts. As you accumulate profit, your buying power (contract limits) increases. On a $50K account, you start with 2 standard / 20 micro contracts. Above $2,500 in profit, that increases to 3 standard / 30 micros. Above $5,000 profit, you get back to the full 5 standard / 50 micro limit. This rewards consistent trading with more capital over time.

Payout caution: The parent brand FunderPro has mixed payout reviews on Trustpilot. Recurring complaints mention denials linked to IP address discrepancies, KYC mismatches, and copy trading accusations. The futures division is newer and has fewer independent payout reports. Check recent Trustpilot reviews before committing to a large account size.

Pros and Cons

Pros

  • Daily Pause prevents challenge failure on daily loss breaches
  • EOD trailing drawdown locks at starting balance once in profit
  • 40% consistency rule on the Beginner evaluation is looser than the 30% at Apex and TradeDay
  • No activation fee on the Beginner tier
  • Free Level 1 CME market data included
  • Up to 5 funded accounts running at the same time
  • EAs, scalping, and martingale all permitted
  • Daily rewards available from the fourth reward onward
  • 10.14% pass rate published on the homepage (rare transparency)

Cons

  • No Daily Pause during the evaluation phase, only on funded accounts
  • Monthly subscription model means recurring costs if you do not pass quickly
  • Comparatively new futures division with a shorter independent payout track record than established competitors
  • Parent brand Trustpilot reviews show rising 1-star count in 2026
  • Trustpilot placed a consumer warning on parent FunderPro in January 2026
  • Site shows two different profit-split figures (80% from day one vs. a 60/70/80 tiered structure) that are not reconciled
  • First 3 rewards require 5 profitable days of $200+ each
  • 2-minute news trading restriction before and after events
  • No overnight holding allowed (auto-flatten at EOD)

Best For and Avoid If

Best for: Futures day traders who want a Daily Pause safety net once funded. Traders who find the 30% consistency rule at competitors too tight and prefer the 40% Beginner-tier threshold. Anyone who wants EOD drawdown over intraday trailing. Traders comfortable with monthly subscription pricing and a comparatively newer firm.
Avoid if: You swing trade futures overnight (positions are auto-flattened daily). You want a long, independently verified payout track record before committing real money. You need daily-loss protection during the evaluation itself, not just after funding. You trade around news events and need more than a 2-minute buffer.

Is FunderPro Futures Legit?

FunderPro Futures is operated by FunderPro Ltd., registered in Malta with company number C 104558. The registered address is Cali House, Level 3, Vjal ir-Rihan, San Gwann, SGN 9020, Malta. The company states on its website that it does not provide investment services listed under Malta's Investment Services Act and is not a broker. It does not accept deposits.

Third-party trade publications report that the parent company FunderPro paid out $21.5 million across 14,058 payouts in 2025, with 25,000+ participants and 6,984 funded accounts on the CFD side. These figures were not published directly on funderpro.com at the time of writing and could not be independently confirmed against a primary source, but they are not trivial numbers if accurate.

As of July 2026, the parent brand has approximately 1,600 reviews on Trustpilot with a score around 3.9 out of 5. About 28% of reviews are 1-star. Trustpilot placed a consumer warning label on the FunderPro profile in January 2026 after detecting conflicting review patterns. Negative reviews cluster around three issues: accounts flagged for shared IP addresses during payout review, KYC country discrepancies leading to account termination, and copy trading accusations that traders dispute.

The firm responds to negative reviews on Trustpilot and follows a pattern of acknowledging complaints while citing proprietary detection systems that cannot share specific data. Some traders found this reasonable. Others called it a deflection.

In June 2026, Tim Plummer replaced co-founder Gary Mullen as CEO of FunderPro. Plummer previously worked at IG Group and Capital.com. Mullen left to launch a marketing automation startup. This leadership change is worth watching for how it affects the payout dispute pattern.

FunderPro Futures does not have its own separate Trustpilot profile. Reviews for the futures division are mixed into the parent FunderPro page. Some futures-specific reviews mention positive experiences with live YouTube trading sessions hosted by a trader named Michelle Rossi. Others mention the same payout issues seen on the CFD side. For the CFD product itself, including its own challenge types and CEO transition details, see our full FunderPro review.

Bottom line: the company is real, it pays real money, and the registration is verifiable. The risk is not fraud. The risk is whether you will run into a payout denial for a reason you did not expect. Read the FundedTrading guide on how to tell if a prop firm is legit for a broader framework.

Alternatives to FunderPro Futures

If the short track record or Trustpilot pattern puts you off, here are three established futures prop firms with longer payout histories.

FirmStarting PriceActivation FeeDrawdown TypeConsistency RuleProfit SplitTrustpilot
My Funded Futures$50/mo$0EOD or Intraday (plan-dependent)None on funded90%4.9/5 (18,000+ reviews)

Earn2Trade$150 one-timeVariesReal-time equity trailing30%80%4.6/5 (6,000+ reviews)

My Funded Futures is the most direct comparison. It charges less per month, has no activation fee, offers 90% profit split on its Rapid plan, and has 18,000+ Trustpilot reviews at 4.9/5. The main tradeoff: MFF uses intraday trailing drawdown on some plans, which is harsher than FunderPro Futures' EOD trailing model. FunderPro's Daily Pause feature has no equivalent at MFF or TradeDay.

For the full ranked shortlist of futures prop firms, see FundedTrading's best futures prop firms guide. FunderPro Futures does not currently appear on that list. For a full comparison of futures prop firms, see the FundedTrading prop firm comparison tool.

Final Verdict

FunderPro Futures has solid rule design for a Beginner-tier evaluation. The 40% consistency rule means you do not need to micromanage your daily PnL distribution the way you would under a 30% cap, and there is no activation fee standing between passing and getting funded. The EOD trailing drawdown that locks at your starting balance gives profitable traders real breathing room. Once funded, the Daily Pause softens what would otherwise be a hard breach on a bad day.

The gaps are in the evaluation phase and in the site's own consistency. There is no Daily Pause protection while you are still trying to pass, so a rough day during the challenge is still a straight breach. The parent brand has a messy Trustpilot pattern. And the site presents two different profit-split figures, 80% from day one in one section and a tiered 60/70/80 structure in another, without reconciling them. Confirm which applies before you rely on either number.

If you value rule design over track record length and you can stomach the trust risk, FunderPro Futures belongs in your shortlist. If you want the safest bet in futures funding, start with My Funded Futures or TradeDay first, then consider FunderPro Futures as a second account once you have seen more payout data from other traders.

FAQs

Is FunderPro Futures legit?

FunderPro Futures is operated by FunderPro Ltd., registered in Malta with company number C 104558, as the futures division of the FunderPro brand. The parent brand paid out $21.5 million across 14,058 payouts in 2025. However, Trustpilot reviews for the parent brand are mixed at 3.9/5 with about 28% one-star ratings, mostly around payout denials linked to IP and KYC disputes. Trustpilot placed a consumer warning label on the profile in January 2026.

What is the FunderPro Futures Daily Pause?

The Daily Pause is FunderPro Futures' version of a daily loss limit. If you hit the threshold, positions auto-close and the account freezes until 16:05 CT the next trading day. The account stays active. You do not fail the challenge. At most competitors, hitting the daily loss limit terminates the challenge immediately and requires a reset or new purchase.

How does the FunderPro Futures drawdown work?

FunderPro Futures uses EOD trailing drawdown. The max drawdown trails upward based on your end-of-day balance until the drawdown floor reaches your starting balance. Once it reaches that level, the floor locks permanently. Intraday equity swings do not move the floor. On the Beginner tier, the $50K account has a 4% max drawdown ($2,000), while the $100K and $150K accounts have a 3% max drawdown.

What platforms does FunderPro Futures support?

As of July 2026, FunderPro Futures supports DeepCharts, DeepMap, ATAS, and Quantower. Execution runs through Rithmic. The firm previously listed NinjaTrader and Tradovate on older versions of reviews. Check the current platform list on their dashboard before purchasing.

How much does FunderPro Futures cost?

Beginner-tier monthly fees are $79 ($50K), $149 ($100K), or $219 ($150K). There is no activation fee to unlock the funded account. Optional reset fees of $69, $129, or $189 apply only if you reset a failed evaluation early. The subscription renews monthly. Use code FTR for 10% off at checkout. Mid-Level and Professional tier pricing should be confirmed directly on the official site.

What is the FunderPro Futures consistency rule?

On the Beginner evaluation, a 40% rule applies. If your single best day exceeds 40% of the profit target, the excess is added to your target at 16:00 CT. On funded accounts, the rule shifts to 50% on your highest profit day relative to your total payout history. A separate 45% rule applies specifically to individual reward requests, capping your best day at 45% of the amount you are requesting. After three rewards, that reward-specific rule stops applying.
