My Funded Futures Review 2026: Plans, Rules & Coupon Code
MFFU is the most-reviewed futures prop firm on Trustpilot: 4.9/5 from nearly 20,000 traders. Five active plans cover every trader profile from budget beginners (Flex $25K at roughly $49/month with a discount) to daily-payout hunters (Rapid, 90/10 split). The biggest catch most reviews miss: Rapid switches from EOD trailing drawdown in the evaluation to intraday trailing when you go funded. Read the rules section before you buy. What is My Funded Futures?
My Funded Futures (MFFU) is a US-based futures prop firm founded in 2023 by Matthew Leech. The firm is registered in Fort Worth, Texas and operates exclusively on CME Group, NYMEX, COMEX, and CBOT. It does not offer forex or crypto. Every account runs in a simulated trading environment. Traders who meet plan-specific cumulative payout thresholds are invited to transition to a live capital account.
MFFU has 19,986 Trustpilot reviews at 4.9/5 as of July 2026, making it the highest-volume-rated firm in the futures prop space. Three years of operating history, a publicly visible founder, and a 72,000-member Discord community give it an auditable track record most newer firms cannot match.
The firm removed activation fees firm-wide in July 2025. Legacy plans (Starter, Expert, Milestone) were discontinued at the same time. Five plans are active as of mid-2026: Core, Rapid, Pro, Flex, and Builder.
My Funded Futures Plans and Pricing (2026)
MFFU runs five distinct plan types. Each targets a different trader profile through its drawdown type, payout speed, and profit split. All use a single-step evaluation. Minimum trading days: 2 on most plans. Builder can be passed in one session.
| Plan | Account Size | Starting Price | Eval Drawdown | Funded Drawdown | Profit Split | Payout Speed |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Core | $50K only | ~$77/mo | 3% EOD trailing ($1,500) | 3% EOD trailing | 80/20 | Every 5 winning days |
| Rapid | $25K, $50K, $100K, $150K | ~$109/mo ($25K) | 4% EOD trailing ($2,000 on 50K) | 4% intraday trailing | 90/10 | Daily (24-hour cycle) |
| Pro | $50K, $100K, $150K | ~$229/mo ($50K) | 3% EOD trailing | 3% EOD trailing | 80/20 | Bi-weekly (14 days) |
| Flex | $25K, $50K | ~$77/mo ($25K) | 4% EOD trailing | 4% EOD trailing | 80/20 | Per 5 qualifying wins |
| Builder | $50K only | $125–$153 one-time | EOD trailing ($1,500 or $2,000 MLL) | EOD trailing (same MLL as eval) | 80/20 | Every 48 hours (5 sim payouts max) |
No daily loss limit on Core, Rapid, Flex, and Pro. Builder is the exception: it carries a $1,000 soft pause daily loss limit in evaluation, sim funded, and live stages. Hitting $1,000 in intraday losses pauses trading for that session but does not breach the account.
Verify all pricing at checkout. MFFU rotates promotional pricing and exact prices change by account size and active promotions. Core no longer appears prominently in the help center navigation as of May 2026 but remains available.
Which MFFU Plan Should You Pick?
My Funded Futures Rules and Drawdown
All MFFU evaluations use a 6% profit target. A $25K account needs $1,500. A $50K account needs $3,000. A $100K account needs $6,000. A $150K account needs $9,000. Builder uses a $3,000 profit target on a $50K account with a one-day pass option.
Consistency Rule
A 50% consistency rule applies on all evaluations except Builder’s eval stage. No single trading day can account for more than 50% of your total evaluation profits. If you make $1,500 on day one of a $50K account, you must spread the remaining $1,500 across at least one more profitable day before the evaluation counts as passed. Builder’s eval has no consistency rule; however, a 50% consistency rule kicks in on the Builder funded account.
Drawdown by Plan
| Plan | Drawdown Type | Buffer ($50K example) | Trailing locks when |
|---|---|---|---|
| Core | 3% EOD trailing | $1,500 | Balance hits starting balance + $100 |
| Rapid (eval) | 4% EOD trailing | $2,000 (on $50K) | Balance reaches starting balance + $100 |
| Rapid (funded) | 4% intraday trailing | $2,100 | Trails equity high-water mark in real time |
| Pro | 3% EOD trailing | $2,100 (funded buffer) | Balance hits starting balance + $100 |
| Flex | 4% EOD trailing | $2,000 (on $50K), $1,000 (on $25K) | Locks at $100 above starting balance (does not trail further) |
| Builder | EOD trailing | $2,000 (Default) or $1,500 (Add-On) | Locks at $100 above starting balance |
News Trading Policy
MFFU has a tiered news trading policy. No open positions or orders are permitted 2 minutes before or after any news release. For Tier 1 events (FOMC meetings, CPI, Employment Report, and sector-specific reports for energy and agricultural traders) the rules are stricter by plan:
| Account Type | T1 News Trading |
|---|---|
| All evaluations | Permitted (2-minute blackout applies) |
| Flex funded ($25K and $50K) | Permitted (2-minute blackout applies) |
| Builder funded | Permitted — the only funded plan with this permission |
| Rapid sim funded | Prohibited |
| Pro sim funded | Prohibited |
Other Rules
Overnight holding is permitted on Core, Rapid, Flex, and Pro. Builder does not allow overnight positions — all trades must be closed before the end of the trading session, and any open positions at session close are automatically liquidated by the platform. Semi-automated trading (EAs, bots with human oversight via tools like TradersPost) is allowed on all plans. Fully autonomous bots that trade without human monitoring are banned. Copy trading from external sources, cross-account hedging, HFT, and latency arbitrage are all grounds for permanent account termination. Traders can hold up to 5 simultaneous sim funded accounts on $25K and $50K plans (maximum 3 on the $50K Flex Plan specifically), or up to 3 on $100K and $150K tiers. Builder is limited to 1 active sim funded account at a time. There is a 7-calendar-day inactivity rule on all sim funded accounts.
MFFU suspends trading on any contract within 2% of its CME daily price limit. Equity index futures (ES, MES, NQ, MNQ, RTY, YM) carry a 5% overnight price limit, which means they frequently trigger this suspension. If your strategy depends on NQ or ES intraday, verify current contract availability before going funded.
Platforms and Instruments
MFFU connects to Rithmic infrastructure for order routing and DXFeed for market data. No additional platform fees are charged by the firm. Six platforms are supported:
Tradable Instruments
MFFU is futures-only. No forex, no CFDs, no crypto. Tradable markets include E-mini S&P 500 (ES), Micro E-mini S&P 500 (MES), E-mini Nasdaq-100 (NQ), Micro E-mini Nasdaq-100 (MNQ), E-mini Russell 2000 (RTY), E-mini Dow (YM), Crude Oil (CL), Gold (GC), and a full range of agricultural contracts on CBOT. Each plan has per-contract position limits that scale with account size. Builder’s $50K allows 4 standard contracts. Other plans scale by account size. Verify limits in your dashboard before the first funded trade.
MFFU also offers Fintevo, an in-house analytics and risk management tool available to traders on the platform.
My Funded Futures Payouts and Profit Split
All payouts process through Riseworks (bank transfer or cryptocurrency via ACH/Plaid). There is a $15 fee per payout request. This applies on every plan. First-time payouts require signing agreements via email. KYC verification (government ID) is required before the first live-funded payout.
Payout Rules by Plan
| Plan | Payout Cadence | Min Withdrawal | Per-Cycle Cap | Buffer to Clear First | Profit Split |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Core | Every 5 winning days | $250 | $5,000 | Yes | 80/20 |
| Rapid | Daily (24-hour cycle) | $500 | None stated | Yes ($1,100 at $25K / $2,100 at $50K) | 90/10 |
| Pro | Bi-weekly (14 days) | $1,000 | $100K cumulative (then live) | Yes (60% pre-buffer allowed) | 80/20 |
| Flex | Every 5 qualifying wins | $250 ($25K) / $500 ($50K) | $1,000 ($25K) / $2,000 ($50K) per request | No buffer (winning days system) | 80/20 |
| Builder | Every 48 hours | $500 | $2,000 per cycle / $10K total sim | Yes | 80/20 |
On all plans, the first $10,000 in approved payouts is 100% yours. After that, the standard plan split applies. Pro is the only plan that allows a pre-buffer payout: you can withdraw up to 60% of profits before the buffer is cleared, down to a $1,000 minimum.
Live Account Transition
MFFU transitions traders to live capital at specific thresholds. Rapid: hitting $10,000 in a single day on the sim funded account triggers an automatic risk review and potential live transition. Pro: 3 consecutive approved payouts or $100K cumulative sim payouts. Builder: after 5 sim payouts ($10K total), the account moves to live CME Group execution. Once live, KYC is required and several rule conditions tighten. The 1099-NEC tax form is issued for US traders with $600 or more in annual payouts, distributed by February 17 of the following year.

Who Is My Funded Futures For?
MFFU is built specifically for futures traders. If you need forex or CFD prop funding, look elsewhere. Within the futures prop market, it is hard to find a firm with a stronger track record per the volume of public reviews.
The Rapid plan suits disciplined intraday scalpers and day traders who want to pull profits out frequently and can manage a tighter intraday drawdown once funded. The 90/10 split is the highest available on the firm and the daily payout cadence is unmatched at this price point. Just understand the drawdown change before you start. Traders who miss that switch and size up on funded Rapid are the main source of negative Reddit sentiment about MFFU.
Flex is the right starting point for beginners or anyone trading a smaller account. The $25K entry, EOD trailing drawdown, and no daily loss limit make the rulebook more forgiving than Rapid or Pro. Intraday floating losses don’t count against you until the session closes. After your first payout, the max loss resets to $100. Know that before you size up. Note also that MFFU cut the Flex payout cap in May 2026 to $1,000 per request on $25K and $2,000 per request on $50K.
Builder is the clearest path to a first payout. Pass in one day, get paid every 48 hours, go live after 5 sim payouts. If speed to funded is your main objective and you want to trade through T1 news events, Builder is the only plan that covers both.
Pro suits swing traders and experienced intraday traders who want EOD drawdown in the funded stage, no funded consistency rule, and can accept bi-weekly payouts in exchange for the highest per-payout minimum ($1,000) and a $100K cumulative sim cap.
My Funded Futures vs. Competitors
| Feature | MFFU Rapid 50K | Apex Trader Funding 50K | Topstep 50K |
|---|---|---|---|
| Profit Split (funded) | 90/10 | 100% (first $25K/month) | 90/10 |
| Activation Fee | $0 | $129 | $0 |
| Drawdown (funded) | 4% intraday trailing | 3% EOD trailing | 5% EOD trailing |
| Payout Speed | Daily | Weekly | On-demand |
| Max Simultaneous Accounts | 5 (small sizes) | 20 | Not published |
| Daily Loss Limit | None | None | None |
| Semi-automated trading | Permitted | Permitted | Restricted (TopstepX only) |
MFFU’s main edge over Apex is no activation fee and daily payouts. Apex’s edge is a deeper discount on entry price and more concurrent account slots. Topstep moved to a single-platform model (TopstepX) in 2025, which reduces flexibility for traders who prefer Tradovate or NinjaTrader. MFFU’s Trustpilot score at 4.9/5 from 19,986 reviews is ahead of both firms on volume and rating.

My Funded Futures FAQ
Is My Funded Futures legit?
Yes. MFFU is a US-registered futures prop firm in Fort Worth, Texas, founded in 2023 by Matthew Leech, who is publicly visible on Discord and social media. The firm holds a 4.9/5 Trustpilot score from 19,986 verified reviews as of July 2026 and has three years of operating history. It is not CFTC-registered, which is standard for sim-funded prop firms — the firm does not manage client funds or offer regulated financial products. All accounts operate in a simulated environment until the live transition threshold is met.
What is the profit split at My Funded Futures?
Profit split depends on your plan. Rapid traders keep 90%, effective January 12, 2026. Flex, Pro, Builder, and Core traders keep 80%. On all plans, the first $10,000 in approved payouts is 100% yours before the standard split takes effect.
Does My Funded Futures pay out?
Yes. All payouts process through Riseworks (bank transfer or cryptocurrency). Most approved payouts process within minutes; manual review takes up to 6 to 12 business hours. There is a $15 fee per payout request. KYC verification is required before the first live-funded withdrawal. Rapid plan payouts are available daily after clearing the buffer. The first $10,000 in payouts goes to you at 100% on every plan.
What trading platforms does My Funded Futures support?
Six platforms: Tradovate, NinjaTrader 8, TradingView, Quantower, Volumetrica/VolSys, and R|Trader Pro. All connect via Rithmic infrastructure. No platform fees are charged by MFFU. Semi-automated trading through tools like TradersPost (via Tradovate) is permitted on all accounts including evaluation and funded stages.
What is the drawdown rule at My Funded Futures?
The drawdown type depends on your plan. Core and Pro use a 3% End-of-Day trailing drawdown in both evaluation and funded stages. Rapid uses a 4% EOD trailing drawdown during evaluation, then switches to a 4% intraday trailing drawdown when funded. Flex uses a 4% EOD trailing drawdown in both stages — it trails upward at the end of each session and locks permanently once it reaches the starting balance plus $100. Builder uses an EOD trailing drawdown set at checkout ($1,500 or $2,000 MLL), with the same lock mechanic. No plan uses a daily loss limit except Builder, which has a $1,000 soft pause DLL that pauses trading for the session but does not breach the account.
How long does it take to get funded at My Funded Futures?
The minimum is 2 trading days on Core, Rapid, Flex, and Pro. Builder can be passed in a single session. The 50% consistency rule applies during all evaluations except Builder’s eval. This means no single trading day can account for more than 50% of your total evaluation profits. Most traders pass within 1 to 2 weeks of structured trading. The pass rate from January 2024 to July 2025 was 20.35%, with only 1.01% of accounts reaching live funded status.
What is the My Funded Futures coupon code?
Use code FundedTrading at checkout for the highest available discount on your selected plan. The exact discount depends on the current active promotion at MFFU. MFFU also publishes official codes on its coupons page including RAPID (20% off Rapid, lifetime) and BUILDER50OFF (50% off Builder, one use). Always verify the final discounted price before completing payment.
Can I use automated trading at My Funded Futures?
Semi-automated trading is permitted on all plans. This includes EAs and bots used via tools like TradersPost through Tradovate, as long as a trader actively monitors and manages the trades. Fully autonomous bots that execute without any human oversight are prohibited. HFT, latency arbitrage, and copy trading from external traders are grounds for permanent account termination. Note that Builder does not allow overnight positions — all positions must be closed before session end on the Builder plan regardless of automation type.
