Trading Tools FAQ

What to check before you connect a tool to a funded account.

Most firms allow journals, charting and VPS freely. Trade copiers, EAs and risk managers are often restricted — copying between accounts at different firms or using third-party automation can breach rules. Check the firm’s terms, or our review page, before connecting a tool to a funded account.
We negotiate codes with each vendor and test them before they go live. Where a card says “Coming soon”, the code is still being agreed. Once it is live, click it to copy, then paste it at the vendor’s checkout.
A risk manager that enforces your daily loss limit and a journal that shows where you leak money are the two with the most direct impact. Charting and order-flow tools help execution; copiers only matter once you run several accounts.
Only if you run EAs, copiers or other automation that must stay online when your computer is off. Manual traders on a stable connection usually don’t need one.
