Tiger Funded Review 2026

Quick verdict: Tiger Funded has some of the cheapest 2-step challenge fees in the prop firm space, a 95% reward split, and genuinely trader-friendly rules during evaluation. The on-paper offer is strong. The issue is the post-funding experience. Trustpilot shows 1.5 out of 5 from 576 reviews as of July 2026, with recurring payout denial complaints. Some traders do get paid. Read the full picture below before you decide.

Current promo code: B1G3 (45% off + Buy 1 Get 3 accounts). Note: additional rules apply to bonus accounts. See details below.

What is Tiger Funded?

Tiger Funded is a simulated trading challenge platform based in Dubai, UAE. It is operated by ALPHAEDGE PRO FZCO and has a European entity, Alphaedgepro Services (Europe) Ltd, registered in Nicosia, Cyprus. Traders pay a one-time fee to enter an evaluation. If they hit the profit target without breaking drawdown rules, they get a simulated funded account and receive a share of any profits they generate on that account.

The firm launched in October 2024. It offers 1-step, 2-step, 3-step, and Instant Pro account types. Standard 2-step account sizes run from $10,000 to $200,000, with a special $500K and $600K challenge tier also available (the $600K uses trailing drawdown rather than static). The firm runs on Match-Trader as its primary platform, with Platform 5 as a secondary option.

Tiger Funded won the FundedTrading Best Challenge Prop Firm 2025 award, based on its trading conditions at the time of evaluation. All accounts are demo accounts with simulated capital. No real funds are placed in live markets on behalf of traders.

Challenge Rules and Account Types

Tiger Funded’s 2-step challenge is the most popular option. Phase 1 requires an 8% profit target. Phase 2 requires 5%. The maximum total drawdown across both phases is 12% of the initial account balance, calculated as a static (non-trailing) drawdown. There is no daily consistency rule in the challenge phase. Both phases have a minimum of 1 active trading day and no time limit.

1-Step Challenge

The 1-step challenge requires a 10% profit target in a single phase. Max total drawdown is 6%. Daily drawdown is 3%. The drawdown limits are tighter than the 2-step, which makes this the higher-risk path for most traders despite the shorter route to funding.

Instant Pro

Instant Pro skips the evaluation phase entirely. Traders access a simulated funded account from day one. The drawdown model is trailing (not static), and a 15% consistency rule applies: no single day can represent 15% or more of total profit in a payout period. Minimum trading period is 9 days with at least 0.5% profit per active day.

B1G3 Promo Note: When using the Buy 1 Get 3 promotion, the standard rules above apply to the account you purchased. The three bonus accounts carry additional restrictions: trailing drawdown applies, and a 15% consistency rule is enforced. Make sure you read Tiger Funded’s promotion conditions page before trading the bonus accounts.

Fees and Account Sizes

Tiger Funded’s challenge fees are among the lowest in the prop firm space at standard pricing. Active promotions push them lower still. The $100K 2-step challenge costs $234 with the current B1G3 code applied. The fee is 200% refundable after your second payout on a funded account.

2-Step Challenge Pricing (standard and discounted, July 2026)

Account Size Standard Fee With B1G3 (45% off)
$10,000~$62~$34
$25,000~$119~$65
$50,000~$213~$117
$100,000~$426$234
$200,000~$725~$399
$600,000~$1,990~$1,095

Fees are approximate and may vary. Always confirm the final price at checkout on tigerfunded.com. The 45% discount applies at checkout with code B1G3.

Fee refund timing: Tiger Funded’s FAQ and Terms of Service both state the 200% refund is paid from the second payout onward — specifically “starting from the second reward, together with the refundable fee.” The Rewards marketing page phrases it differently (“your first reward comes with a 200% fee refund”), which contradicts the fine print. The FAQ and ToS are the binding sources. Expect the refund from your second payout, not your first.

Funded Account Rules

Once funded, the drawdown rules remain the same as during the challenge. The main differences are that EAs are no longer allowed and three additional funded-only rules apply. These rules are where trader disputes have concentrated in 2025 and 2026.

2-Minute Minimum Trade Duration

Every trade on a funded account must stay open for at least 2 minutes. Trades closed before the 2-minute mark are considered non-compliant and can result in a payout denial. This rule does not apply during the challenge phase. It has generated significant trader complaints, particularly from scalpers who were not clearly informed of this restriction before purchase. The rule is documented in Tiger Funded’s FAQ but was reportedly added or more strictly enforced from October 2025 onward.

No Hedging on Funded Accounts

Opening opposing positions on the same asset, within a single account or across multiple accounts, is not allowed on funded accounts. Tiger Funded classes this as hedging regardless of lot size.

Layering Limit

Traders cannot have three or more open positions on the same asset simultaneously. This limits position stacking on a single instrument.

Margin Usage

Using 100% of available margin on a single position is not allowed. Tiger Funded requires at least 20 to 30% free margin to remain after any trade is placed.

Important: Tiger Funded’s funded account rules are enforced by a third-party compliance and validation provider. Payout denials cite violations of Terms and Conditions without specifying the exact rule breached. If you receive a denial, the firm’s FAQ advises contacting the Risk Team by email. Multiple traders have reported that follow-up emails went unanswered.

Platforms and Instruments

Tiger Funded offers two platforms. Match-Trader is the primary option, with built-in TradingView charts, one-click trading, and web and mobile access via iOS and Android. Platform 5 is available on desktop and Android and supports Expert Advisors during the challenge phase. EAs are not permitted on funded accounts — Tiger Funded’s main FAQ (Q24) is explicit on this. Note: the Scaling Plan FAQ separately states “EAs stay allowed at every level,” which directly contradicts the main FAQ. The main FAQ and Terms of Service are the binding sources. Do not rely on the scaling page wording.

Leverage by Asset Class

Asset ClassMax LeverageExamples
Forex1:100EUR/USD, GBP/USD, USD/JPY
Indices1:30US30, NAS100, DAX40
Commodities1:30Gold (XAUUSD), Silver, Oil
Crypto1:2Bitcoin, Ethereum

Instant Pro accounts use a maximum leverage of 1:50 across all asset classes. Tiger Funded’s FAQ states the daily drawdown resets at 8 PM EST, though the same FAQ’s examples reference 5 PM EST in the worked calculations — an inconsistency on Tiger Funded’s own documentation. Tiger Funded charges no commission on trades. Spreads vary by instrument.

Payouts and Scaling

Funded traders become eligible for their first payout 14 days after placing their first trade. After the first payout, the next eligibility window opens 7 days after the first trade of the new cycle. All positions must be flat (no open trades, no pending orders) to request a payout. The minimum withdrawal amount is $100.

Tiger Funded’s published payout guarantee is 48 business hours. If they miss that window, they add $1,000 to the payout. Payouts are processed on business days only (Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM Dubai time), so weekend days do not count against the 48-hour clock. Withdrawals are made by bank transfer via Rise, or by crypto (BTC, ETH, USDT) on request.

Reward Split

The base reward split is 95%. A 100% split is available as a paid add-on. From your second payout onward, Tiger Funded also pays 20% of profits earned during the challenge phase, along with the 200% fee refund. Traders can hold up to 20 demo accounts simultaneously and merge all funded accounts if they choose.

Scaling Plan

The standard scaling plan increases your account by 15% of the initial balance after achieving a 12% profit gain in any 3-month period. The maximum account size under the standard plan is $2,000,000. A paid Scaling Boost upgrade increases each step to 40% of the initial balance and removes the $2M cap, allowing unlimited scaling in theory. Tiger Funded’s marketing refers to a $4M maximum, which reflects the overall allocation cap across all accounts.

Subsequent payout window 7 days after first trade of new cycle
Payout guarantee 48 business hours (Mon–Fri, Dubai time)

Reputation and Trust Signals

This is the section that matters most for any trader evaluating Tiger Funded in mid-2026. The on-paper offer is strong. The trader reputation data tells a more complicated story.

Trustpilot: 1.5 out of 5 from 576 reviews (July 2026)

The Trustpilot score is the main concern. As of July 2026, Tiger Funded holds a 1.5 out of 5 rating from 576 reviews. The negative reviews share a consistent pattern: traders report passing the challenge, completing the 14-day wait period, requesting a payout, then receiving an automated denial email citing a vague terms violation without specifying which rule was breached. Multiple traders also report being removed from the Tiger Funded Discord server after asking about denied payouts, and not receiving replies to follow-up emails.

It is worth noting that some traders report positive experiences and multiple successful payouts. The split is not uniformly bad. But the volume and consistency of the negative accounts, combined with the absence of specific explanations in denial emails, is a pattern worth taking seriously before committing challenge fees.

The 2-Minute Rule and Enforcement Disputes

Several denied payout complaints specifically cite the 2-minute minimum trade duration rule. Traders report the rule was applied retroactively, or that trades they believed complied were flagged by the third-party compliance provider. The rule is documented in Tiger Funded’s FAQ, but traders who purchased before it was actively enforced have disputed its application to their accounts.

FundedTrading Award (2025)

Tiger Funded won FundedTrading’s Best Challenge Prop Firm 2025 award. That assessment was based on trading conditions, pricing, and payout mechanics at the time of evaluation. The trader reputation picture has deteriorated since then. We continue to acknowledge the award while updating our assessment to reflect current data.

Our view: Tiger Funded’s product conditions are genuinely good on paper. The Trustpilot signal is too large and too consistent to dismiss. If you want to try it, start with the smallest available account size to test the payout process before committing to a larger challenge fee.

Tiger Funded vs Competitors

Tiger Funded competes primarily on price. Its $234 discounted 100K account is cheaper than most comparable 2-step challenges. The 12% static drawdown and 95% reward split are above average. The trust and payout reliability gap is where established firms pull ahead.

Firm 100K 2-Step Fee Max Drawdown Reward Split Fee Refund Trustpilot
Tiger Funded $234 (promo) 12% static 95% 200% after 2nd payout 1.5/5 (576 reviews)
FundedNext ~$399 10% trailing Up to 95% 100% after 1st payout 4.5/5
Funding Pips ~$499 8% trailing Up to 100% No refund 4.7/5
FTMO ~$540 10% static 80–90% Full refund after 1st payout 4.8/5

Trustpilot scores are approximate as of July 2026. Fees shown are approximate and may reflect promotional pricing.

Pros and Cons

Pros

  • Among the lowest challenge fees in the space ($234 for a 100K 2-step account with promo)
  • 12% static drawdown gives more room than most 2-step programs
  • 95% base reward split, with 100% available as add-on
  • No consistency rules in the 2-step challenge or funded phase
  • News trading and weekend holding both allowed
  • 200% fee refund (after second payout)
  • 20% challenge-phase profits paid from second payout onward
  • 48-hour payout guarantee on business days — $1,000 added if they miss it
  • Free reset after first payout if needed

Cons

  • Trustpilot: 1.5/5 from 576 reviews with recurring payout denial pattern
  • 2-minute minimum trade duration on funded accounts causes disputes, especially for scalpers
  • Payout denial emails cite vague Terms violations without specifying the rule
  • EAs not permitted on funded accounts
  • Fee refund is after the second payout, not the first
  • B1G3 bonus accounts carry additional restrictions (trailing drawdown, 15% consistency rule)
  • No smaller entry accounts below $10,000 in the standard evaluation range

Is Tiger Funded Worth It?

Tiger Funded’s challenge conditions are genuinely good. The 12% static drawdown, 95% reward split, no consistency rule, and low fees make the evaluation phase one of the more trader-friendly setups in the space. That is why it won FundedTrading’s Best Challenge Prop Firm award in 2025.

The funded phase is where the experience diverges. The 2-minute trade duration rule, no-hedging rule, and layering limits are all documented, but they are enforced by a third-party compliance provider whose decisions are opaque and largely non-appealable in practice. The volume of Trustpilot complaints describing the same sequence (pass challenge, request payout, receive vague denial, get no response to follow-up) is too large to ignore at 576 reviews.

Some traders clearly do get paid. The firm has distributed over $10M in rewards to date according to its own figures. But if you compare Tiger Funded’s payout reliability reputation against established firms like FTMO or Funding Pips, the gap is significant.

If you are going to try Tiger Funded, we would suggest starting with a smaller account and treating your first payout as a test of the process rather than committing your full capital upfront. Understand the funded account rules in full before you trade, particularly the 2-minute duration rule, and keep records of every trade in case a dispute arises.

FAQs About Tiger Funded

What is the maximum drawdown at Tiger Funded?

The maximum total drawdown on Tiger Funded’s 1-step and 2-step challenges is 12% of the initial account balance. It is calculated as a static drawdown, meaning it does not trail your highest equity. The daily drawdown limit is 5%, calculated from the highest balance or equity at the reset time of 8 PM EST. Instant Pro accounts use a trailing drawdown model instead of static.

Does Tiger Funded refund challenge fees?

Tiger Funded offers a 200% refund on the challenge fee. Tiger Funded’s FAQ and Terms of Service both state this is paid from the second funded payout onward, together with the 20% challenge-phase profit bonus. Note: the Rewards marketing page implies the refund arrives with the first payout, which contradicts the FAQ and ToS wording. Treat the FAQ and Terms of Service as the binding reference.

What is the profit split at Tiger Funded?

The base reward split is 95%. A 100% split is available as a paid add-on. From the second payout onward, Tiger Funded also pays 20% of the profits you earned during the challenge phase. This challenge-phase profit is paid alongside the fee refund.

How long does Tiger Funded take to pay out?

Tiger Funded’s payout guarantee is 48 business hours. If they miss that window, they add $1,000 to the payout. The timer only runs on business days (Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM Dubai time). Payout eligibility starts 14 days after your first trade on the funded account. After the first payout, the next cycle begins 7 days after your next trade. Withdrawals are made by bank transfer via Rise, or by crypto (BTC, ETH, USDT) if requested.

Is Tiger Funded legit?

Tiger Funded is a registered company operating under ALPHAEDGE PRO FZCO in Dubai and Alphaedgepro Services (Europe) Ltd in Cyprus. It is not a licensed financial institution, which is standard for prop trading firms. As of July 2026, Trustpilot shows 1.5 out of 5 from 576 reviews, with a recurring payout denial pattern. Some traders do receive payouts and report positive experiences. Check current Trustpilot reviews and research the firm’s recent reputation before purchasing.

What is the 2-minute rule at Tiger Funded?

On funded accounts, every trade must stay open for at least 2 minutes. Trades closed before the 2-minute mark are considered non-compliant and can result in a payout denial. This rule does not apply during the challenge evaluation phase. It has been the source of a significant number of trader disputes, particularly for scalpers and traders who open positions close to market close.

What platforms does Tiger Funded use?

Tiger Funded offers Match-Trader as the primary platform, featuring TradingView charts and mobile access via iOS and Android. Platform 5 is available on desktop and Android with support for Expert Advisors during the challenge phase. EAs are not permitted on funded accounts on either platform.

Can I scale my account at Tiger Funded?

Yes. The standard scaling plan adds 15% of your initial balance to your account after each 12% profit gain in a 3-month period, up to a maximum of $2,000,000. A paid Scaling Boost upgrade increases each step to 40% of the initial balance and removes the $2M ceiling. Tiger Funded’s overall maximum allocation across all accounts is $4,000,000.

What is the Tiger Funded coupon code?

The current code is B1G3, which gives 45% off the challenge fee and adds three extra accounts at no additional cost. The purchased account follows standard challenge rules. The three bonus accounts carry trailing drawdown and a 15% consistency rule. Check fundedtrading.com/discount for updated codes.

Ready to Try Tiger Funded?

Use code B1G3 for 45% off your challenge fee. Start with a smaller account size to test the payout process first.
