FundedElite Review 2026: Payout Rules, IP Rule and Risk Limits
FundedElite is a real operating firm that pays traders, founded in 2023 and based in Italy. Every account holds simulated capital, not live funds, and no regulator stands behind it. The challenge product is genuinely good value: no time limits, free retries, news trading allowed by default, and $5 entry through Flash Activation. Two things carry real risk. The IP rule has denied payouts to travellers and dynamic-IP users, with four separate reports of that in the ten days to 2 September 2026. And a funded-stage risk rule that does not apply during the evaluation catches traders after they pass. Trustpilot has suppressed the firm's rating for a guidelines breach, so the score you may have seen quoted elsewhere no longer exists.
FT20 takes 20% off any challenge at checkout. Read the coupon section first, FundedElite is running a better public code on some plans.

Search "FundedElite review" and you will find complaints from two different companies mixed together. FundedElite (fundedelite.com) is a legitimate operating prop firm based in Italy. FundedEliteTraders.com is a separate entity reported to the Forex Peace Army for refusing to pay out $179,000 and for repeatedly rebranding under new names. The two share a similar name and have no connection.
FundedElite launched in 2023 and is co-led by Christian Habibi and Artur Seriihovych Deshko, two childhood friends who entered prop trading in 2020. Third-party review sites list the operating entity as Quantum SRL in Latina, Italy, registration number 03095010595. We have not confirmed that against the Italian business register, so treat it as unverified. Trustpilot's listing shows only "Italy" as the location.
The product line covers five main challenge types plus the Catalyst account, which places it mid-table on breadth against the other firms in our prop firm ratings. Standard account sizes run from $5,000 upward and profit splits are customisable from 60% to 95%. On maximum funding the firm contradicts itself: its site and reviews reference $300,000 to $400,000 on standard plans with $1 million on the Catalyst path, while its own Trustpilot profile describes challenges of up to 200k. We have not resolved which figure is current and would ask support directly before buying at the top of the range.
FT20: 20% off any FundedElite challenge
Works on 1-step, 2-step, Lite, Flash Activation, Instant Funded and Catalyst accounts. Apply at checkout.
FT20With a discount applied, the Flash Activation route gets very cheap to enter. You pay $5 upfront to join the evaluation, then an activation fee only after you pass, starting at $159 for a $25,000 account. That is the lowest-cost path into FundedElite's funded program, and the activation fee is where the real cost sits.
FundedElite offers more challenge formats than most firms at this price point. Each has a different fee structure, drawdown setup and payout timeline. If you are not sure which format suits how you trade, our challenge finder filters firms by drawdown type and consistency rules.
| Account type | Evaluation | Drawdown | Daily loss | Max loss | Free retry | Minimum trading days |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1-Step Free Retry | 1 phase | Static | 3% | 8% | Yes | 3 days at 1% profit |
| 2-Step Free Retry | 2 phases | Static | 5% | 8% | Yes | 3 days at 0.5% profit per phase |
| Lite 1-Step | 1 phase | Static | 3% | 6% | No | 3 days at 1% profit |
| Lite 2-Step | 2 phases | Static | 3 to 5% | 6 to 8% | No | 3 days at 0.5% profit per phase |
| Instant Funded | None | Trailing (6%) | 3% | 6% | No | 3 profitable days at 0.5% each |
| Flash Activation | 1 phase | Challenge static, live trailing (6%) | 3% | 6% | No | Challenge 0, live 3 profitable days at 0.5% each |
| Catalyst | None | Not published per plan | Varies | Varies | Paid reset | No minimum |
Second-chance accounts change the profit requirement. On the 2-step second chance, Phase 1 needs 3 days at 1% rather than 0.5%. Check the objective on the account you are actually issued rather than the one you bought.
Free retry accounts
Most firms at this price give you one shot. Fail and you repurchase. FundedElite's Free Retry accounts automatically issue a second attempt on an account of the same size at no extra cost. The retry resets you to Phase 1 with tighter terms: on the 1-step the max loss drops from 8% to 6%, and on the 2-step the daily loss drops from 5% to 3%. The profit split also drops to 50% for all future payouts on the second-chance account. It does not apply to the live funded phase and does not cover termination-level violations such as KYC fraud.
Flash Activation, the $5 entry
A single-phase evaluation with no minimum trading days during the challenge. You pay $5 to enter. Once you pass, you pay an activation fee to open the live account: $159 for $25K, $329 for $50K, $499 for $100K, or $989 for $200K. That fee must be paid within 29 days of passing or the offer expires. The live phase switches to trailing drawdown at 6% max and adds a 30% single-day consistency rule.
Be clear about what this means. The $5 buys the attempt, not the account. Traders who read the headline and not the fee schedule have been surprised by a three-figure charge at the moment they succeed.
Instant Funded
Skips evaluation entirely, in two versions. Both use 3% daily loss and 6% trailing max drawdown. The difference is the consistency rule: standard INSTANT caps any single day at 25% of total profit, INSTANT ELITE removes the cap. On both, the first payout is at 70%, the second at 80%, and the split reaches up to 95% from the third payout onward only if you buy the add-on. Payout eligibility needs 3 profitable days at 0.5% P&L each. Payouts run biweekly.
You start with a $25,000 instant funded account at an 80% split and no evaluation phase. Trade toward a profit target, adjustable between 5% and 10%, request a payout, and the account doubles. Six times through and you are on $1 million at a 95% split.
| Stage | Account size | Profit split | First payout window |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | $25,000 | 80% | 14 days |
| 2 | $50,000 | Increases | 7 days |
| 3 | $100,000 | Increases | 7 days |
| 4 | $200,000 | Increases | 7 days |
| 5 | $400,000 | Increases | 7 days |
| 6 | $800,000 | Increases | 7 days |
| 7 | $1,000,000 | 95% | 7 days |
Fail a stage after already earning a payout at that level and you get one paid reset per stage, with progress at lower levels preserved. Fail at $200K and you reset the $200K stage, not the whole ladder. That costs money but far less than restarting at $25K.
FundedElite uses static drawdown on its standard evaluation accounts, calculated from the opening balance rather than equity highs. That is more predictable than trailing drawdown, but it means a fixed loss budget with no way to bank room by running profits. If the difference between static and trailing drawdown is new to you, we define both in the prop firm glossary.
Drawdown and daily loss
On the 1-step Free Retry the daily loss limit is 3% and max drawdown is 8%, both static. On the 2-step Free Retry the daily limit is 5% and the max is 8%. On customised accounts you can adjust drawdown limits within a defined range at checkout, which changes the price. The dashboard's daily reset happens at 22:00 UTC, so a trade that feels like tomorrow's risk may still land on today's ledger depending on your timezone.
Consistency rule
Not every account has one. The 1-step and 2-step Free Retry accounts have no consistency rule in any phase. The Flash Activation live phase caps any single day at 30% of total profit since account creation or last payout. Standard INSTANT caps it at 25%. INSTANT ELITE removes the cap. If you take large single-day profits, pick Free Retry or INSTANT ELITE.
Reset fees depend on which rule you broke
There are two schedules, and reviews that quote one figure are missing half the picture. A funded-stage risk-limit breach costs 40% of the original challenge price for the first reset, doubling for each of the two resets after that. Every other rule breach is charged at 20% of the original challenge price, minimum $10, up to three resets. Both figures ignore any discount you paid and both add the cost of the add-ons you selected. On a $25,000 challenge, a first risk-limit reset lands near $171 and a second near $342.
Scalping and minimum hold time
Traders and secondary reviews widely report a 3-minute minimum hold time, with positions closed faster counted as scalping. We could not find this rule stated in any FundedElite source when we checked on 8 September 2026, so we are flagging it as unconfirmed rather than repeating it as policy. If you are a short-term trader, ask support to confirm it in writing before you buy, and ask whether the scalping add-on changes it.
Inactivity
Leave an account 29 days without placing a single trade and it is terminated. Recovery requires a fee. Contact support before a planned break rather than after one.
What is allowed
Swap charges and the risk calculation
Some traders report that overnight financing charges appear to count toward the risk figure the system records, with one documented case where a $367.50 stop-loss risk plus $15.39 of swap was treated as $382.89 and flagged. FundedElite's published risk-limit article defines risk by stop distance or maximum adverse excursion and does not mention swaps at all. Treat this as an unconfirmed trader report rather than documented policy, and ask support directly if you hold positions overnight near your limit on instruments like BTC or crude oil.
This rule only applies once you are funded. It does not apply during Phase 1 or Phase 2, which is exactly why traders who cleared the evaluation without trouble get caught by it afterwards. It is the least-explained rule at this firm and the one most likely to cost you an account.
You cannot risk more than 50% of your daily loss limit on a single instrument in one day. On a 5% daily drawdown that means 2.5% maximum on any one pair. Risk is cumulative across every trade on that instrument that day, and it is counted on the day the trade closes.
What that looks like on a $100,000 account
A 5% daily loss limit is $5,000, so your ceiling on any single instrument is $2,500 a day.
| Same day, same pair | Size and stop | Risk | Running total |
|---|---|---|---|
| Trade 1 | 2 lots EURUSD, 30 pip stop | $600 | $600 |
| Trade 2 | 3 lots EURUSD, 40 pip stop | $1,200 | $1,800 |
| Trade 3 | 2 lots EURUSD, 40 pip stop | $800 | $2,600, breach |
Three ordinary trades on one pair, none of them large. The third breaks the rule even if all three close in profit, because the rule counts risk taken rather than money lost.
The two calculation traps
No stop loss means the market sets your risk. Trade without a stop and FundedElite counts the worst price the instrument reached while your position was open. Buy EURUSD at 1.1000, watch it dip to 1.0950, close in profit at 1.1030, and the system still records 50 pips of risk. On 2 lots that is $1,000 of your $2,500 ceiling consumed by a winning trade.
Widening a stop rewrites your risk retroactively. The figure used is the most distant stop you ever set during the life of the trade. Open 2 lots with a 20 pip stop and later push it to 50 pips and your recorded risk is $1,000, not $400. If both traps apply to one trade, the system takes the higher number.

No part of FundedElite generates more complaints than the IP rule. The firm flags accounts that log in from multiple IP addresses, treating that as a signal of possible third-party account management. Legitimate situations trigger the same flag.
Traders who travel and switch between hotel Wi-Fi, mobile data and home broadband log in from different IPs across sessions. Traders whose ISP assigns a new address on each connection can get flagged without leaving the house. Mobile data almost always uses dynamic IPs shared across thousands of users.
Detection is automated and pattern-based, so false positives happen. Support has resolved some cases. Others ended in account termination and payout denial with no specific evidence given to the trader. If you travel regularly, treat this as the main operational risk of trading here, and sort out a dedicated IP before you reach a payout rather than after. We track enforcement issues like this across the industry on our prop firm warnings page.
Residents of and traders in Iraq, Cuba, Iran, North Korea, Lebanon, Libya, Somalia, and the Crimea, Donetsk and Luhansk regions of Ukraine cannot access any FundedElite account. US traders are additionally blocked from MT5 and cTrader accounts specifically.
Check the list before you buy and again before you travel. One trader reported having a payout refused after support told them Turkey was a restricted country. Turkey does not appear on FundedElite's published restricted list and did not when we checked on 8 September 2026. We cannot verify what was said in that conversation and FundedElite has not responded publicly to the claim. What we can state is that the reason given to that trader does not match the firm's own published terms. If you are told a country restriction applies to you, ask for it in writing and compare it against the published list.

FundedElite's account credentials documentation covers four platforms: MetaTrader 5, TradeLocker, cTrader and Edge by Axe (Axe Markets). Match-Trader appears in some homepage marketing copy but is not in the credentials documentation. The platform list has changed more than once since launch, so verify availability before buying if you depend on a specific terminal.
MT5 is the most commonly used option based on Trustpilot reviews. Several traders have reported wider spreads on FundedElite's MT5 than at other firms on identical instruments, including one who documented being stopped out at FundedElite while the same trade hit take-profit elsewhere. That is not unique to this firm, but it matters if you trade tight stops.
FundedElite pays via Rise (Riseworks) and crypto transfer. Payout cadence depends on the plan. Elite Now instant funding runs biweekly, and the low-cost activation route documents requests every 14 days. On the Catalyst account the first payout takes up to 14 days and later stages take 7. Some marketing copy references faster cycles, so confirm the cadence on the specific plan you buy.
First payout setup requires creating a Rise account, which adds a step traders find slower than expected. After that registration, crypto payouts clear faster, and several Trustpilot reviewers report same-day payouts on later withdrawals.
On large funded accounts, typically $200,000 and above, some traders report being required to attend a risk interview before the first payout is processed. This is not prominently disclosed upfront. Budget time for it if you are trading at that size.
Scaling
On standard funded accounts, the balance can increase by 10% after every three successful payouts. The profit split rises to 90% after five payouts. Payout frequency improves to weekly after seven. The drawdown limit expands by 1% at each three-payout milestone up to a defined cap.
We have not bought an account or attempted a payout, so everything here is reported experience with a date attached. Read it as a pattern to check rather than a verdict.
Between 28 August and 2 September 2026, four separate Trustpilot reviewers described the same sequence: reaching the payout threshold, then having the payout refused on an IP-sharing flag. None had a public company reply when we checked.
The most detailed account, posted 28 August 2026 by a UK reviewer covering eighteen months with the firm, describes being flagged for IP sharing after passing accounts, having the account reset, then having a payout of more than $8,000 denied on a repeat IP flag and losing that account. The same trader later passed a $200,000 account and received a first payout of around $4,000 in the second week against a stated one to three business days. On requesting a second payout of around $5,000 they were offered a choice: transition to a live account with a $4,494 drawdown buffer on $200,000, or take the payout and be barred from buying further challenges. They took the payout. The challenge fee was refunded when they asked for it. Their conclusion was that the firm suits traders still learning rather than anyone trying to scale.
Positive reports over the same weeks are almost entirely about support responsiveness rather than payouts, including one trader who resolved an IP flag with the team and another given a replacement account after a weekend-trading breach.
Four reviews are not a payout audit. There is no denominator here and we are not claiming a denial rate. If you have traded here and reached a payout, add it to our trader reviews so the next reader has more than four data points. What the cluster does tell you is where to concentrate your due diligence: the IP rule first, the payout threshold second.
Yes, in the sense that matters most. FundedElite is a real operating firm that pays traders. Public payout certificates on its site and Discord show payouts from $3,500 to $18,000 across multiple countries, and Trustpilot carries reviewers documenting specific amounts received. A fraudulent firm pays nobody. This one pays.
Simulated capital, and no regulator
FundedElite states plainly that it operates exclusively with virtual capital across all accounts, that it never provides live funds to clients, and that it accepts no client deposits. It treats this as the basis for being exempt from regulatory requirements. Take that at face value. You are buying an evaluation product, not a brokerage account, and no financial regulator stands behind your balance or your payout. A company registration in Italy, even once verified, is not regulatory authorisation. Our risk disclosure explains why prop firm payouts are performance fees calculated on simulated results rather than withdrawals from a live brokerage account.
What Trustpilot currently shows
FundedElite's Trustpilot profile carries a warning notice. The company's rating is unavailable because of a breach of Trustpilot's guidelines for businesses, and Trustpilot states it removed a number of fake reviews for this company. There is no TrustScore on the profile as of 8 September 2026.
Review volume is still visible: 744 reviews, 451 from the last twelve months, split 77% five-star, 7% four, 5% three, 2% two and 9% one-star. Read that split carefully. A suppressed rating on a profile with heavy five-star volume means Trustpilot found enough inauthentic activity to pull the score, so neither the average nor the volume tells you much on its own.
We previously cited 4.3 out of 5 from 725 reviews on this page, checked in July 2026. That figure is no longer supportable and we have removed it.
The complaints worth taking seriously
Payout denials on large accounts justified by vague rule-optimisation allegations without specific evidence have been documented at PropFirmMatch. The IP rule produces false positives. The funded-stage risk limit catches traders who never saw it during evaluation. These are operational risks rather than signs of fraud, and the distinction is real, but it is cold comfort if you are the trader whose $8,000 payout was refused. Our scoring methodology sets out how we weigh rule risk against payout evidence.
The firm has been operating since 2023. It does not have the multi-year record of FTMO or FundedNext. That is a genuine limitation rather than a dealbreaker.

| Firm | Min entry | Max split | Free retry | Time limit | News trading | IP rule |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| FundedElite | $5 (Flash) | 95% (add-on) | Yes, 1-step and 2-step | None | Allowed | Strict |
| FTMO | ~$155 (10K) | 90% | No | 30 days | Allowed | Standard |
| FundedNext | ~$59 | 95% | No | None on 1-step | Allowed | Standard |
| PipFarm | ~$75 | 85% | No | None | Allowed | Standard |
Competitor figures were checked in July 2026 and have not been re-verified for this update. Confirm them on each firm's review page before relying on the comparison.
FundedElite's advantage over FTMO is price and flexibility. At $5 to enter through Flash Activation the barrier is almost nothing, against FTMO's $155 minimum for a $10K challenge. The trade-off is record. FTMO has operated since 2015 and FundedElite since 2023. If longevity matters most, FTMO is the safer choice.
FundedNext is the closest direct competitor, with no time limits on 1-step accounts, comparable splits and a broad instrument range, plus a longer record and a more transparent scaling path. FundedElite counters with free retries and the Catalyst ladder, neither of which FundedNext offers. If you travel or trade from shifting connections, FundedNext's standard IP handling is the deciding factor.
Is FundedElite legit?
Yes. It is a real operating prop firm that pays traders, with public payout certificates and Trustpilot reviewers documenting amounts received. Third-party sites list the entity as Quantum SRL in Latina, Italy, registration 03095010595, which we have not verified. All accounts hold simulated capital and the firm claims exemption from regulation on that basis. Trustpilot has suppressed its rating for a guidelines breach as of 8 September 2026. Do not confuse it with FundedEliteTraders.com, a separate reported fraud.
What is the FundedElite discount code?
Our code FT20 gives 20% off any challenge. FundedElite is also running 25% off 1-step and 2-step and 15% off Elite Now on its own site as of 8 September 2026, so compare before you buy and use whichever is cheaper for your plan.
Why did my FundedElite payout get denied?
The most commonly reported reason is an IP-sharing flag raised at the payout stage, with four separate reports between 28 August and 2 September 2026. The second is a funded-stage risk-limit breach, which applies only after you are funded and is calculated on risk taken rather than money lost. Ask for the specific rule and the evidence in writing, and check any country restriction you are quoted against the firm's published list.
What is the FundedElite risk limit rule?
At the funded stage you cannot risk more than 50% of your daily loss limit on one instrument in a single day, so 2.5% on a 5% daily drawdown. Risk is cumulative per instrument per day and counted on the day trades close. Without a stop loss, the worst price reached during the trade sets your risk. With a stop, the widest stop you ever set is used. Profitable trades still consume the allowance.
How do FundedElite payouts work?
After the minimum trading days in the live phase you submit a payout request, paid via Rise (Riseworks) or crypto. Cadence depends on plan: Elite Now is biweekly and the activation route documents every 14 days. The first Catalyst payout takes up to 14 days, later stages 7. First-time payouts need a Rise account set up, which slows the initial one.
Does FundedElite allow news trading?
Yes, on all account types, with no mandatory hold periods around high-impact events. Opening positions on Saturday or Sunday is not allowed, though holding from Friday into Monday is. A weekend-trading add-on is sold at checkout.
Which countries can't use FundedElite?
Iraq, Cuba, Iran, North Korea, Lebanon, Libya, Somalia, and the Crimea, Donetsk and Luhansk regions of Ukraine are blocked from all accounts. US traders are additionally blocked from MT5 and cTrader. Turkey is not on the published list, despite one trader being told otherwise by support.
Do I need a static IP to trade with FundedElite?
Not at signup, but the risk system flags accounts logging in from multiple addresses. If you use mobile data, travel, or have an ISP that assigns dynamic IPs, you are exposed. The firm recommends a static dedicated IP for payout-stage accounts. Tell support about travel before you go.
What is the FundedElite Catalyst account?
An instant funded account starting at $25,000 with an 80% split and no evaluation. Each approved payout doubles the account, and six of them take you from $25K to $1M at 95%. Each stage carries one paid reset if you fail after already earning a payout there. Per-stage drawdown and pricing were still not fully published when we checked.
Is FundedElite the same as FundedEliteTraders.com?
No. Different companies. FundedElite operates at fundedelite.com and is based in Italy. FundedEliteTraders.com is a reported fraud that has refused to pay traders and repeatedly rebranded. Do not send money to FundedEliteTraders.com.
Thinking About FundedElite?
Free retries, no time limits and $5 entry are real advantages. Sort out a dedicated IP and read the funded-stage risk rule before you trade, because that is where accounts get lost.
