Giveaway Terms Testing
Draft — not yet approved. Every block marked [TO BE CONFIRMED] below needs a decision from editorial or legal before this page goes in front of traders. Everything else states what the giveaway system actually does today.
1. Who can enter
Entry is open to traders aged 18 or over. You need a free FundedTrading account: the account is how we reach a winner, and it is why entry does not run through social media alone.
One entry per account. Opening a second account to enter twice removes both.

2. How to enter
Each giveaway has six required steps, shown on the giveaway page: create a FundedTrading account, follow FundedTrading on X, follow the participating firm on X, repost the giveaway post and tag three traders, follow FundedTrading on Instagram, and follow the participating firm on Instagram.
Finishing the six steps is not the same as entering. An entry counts only once you press Confirm my entry on the giveaway page before the closing date and time shown there.
The two Instagram steps run on trust. Instagram gives nobody a way to check whether one account follows another, so you confirm those yourself and we check them by hand if you are drawn.
3. The prize
Prizes are funded trading accounts provided by the participating prop firm. They are not cash and cannot be exchanged for cash.
What you can do with the account, how it is evaluated and how any payout works are set by that firm's own rules, published on its FundedTrading review page. Those rules apply to a prize account exactly as they apply to one somebody paid for.
Every prize on the page is confirmed in writing with the firm before the giveaway opens.
4. How winners are drawn
Winners are drawn at random from the entries that completed every step and pressed Confirm before the closing time. The number of winners is shown on the giveaway.
Every drawn account is re-checked before anything is announced. If a step marked done is no longer true — for example the follow has been undone, or the reposted reply has been deleted — that entry is removed and a replacement is drawn.
An entry may also be removed by hand where there is evidence of a duplicate account or of gaming the entry steps. The reason is recorded with the entry.
5. Announcing winners
Winners are announced on the giveaway page within 48 hours of the giveaway closing, and contacted using the email on their FundedTrading account.
A winner's social handle is published only after that winner confirms they are happy for it to appear.

6. Fees, tax and costs
Entering is free. No purchase is necessary and buying anything does not improve your chances.

7. How we are paid
Featured placement on FundedTrading can be paid for, and some links to firms are affiliate links. Neither changes how a giveaway is run or who wins one: the prize comes from the firm, and the draw is random.
8. Your data
We store the account that entered, which steps it completed, and the three handles typed into the repost step. That last one is what lets us match a reply at draw time.

9. The promoter
