ForFX Daylight Saving Time Adjustments
ForFX has announced upcoming changes to trading hours due to the end of Daylight-Saving Time (DST) in Europe and the US. If you’re trading with ForFX, here’s what you need to know about the schedule changes:
1. Key Dates for Daylight-Saving Time Changes
- Europe: DST ends on Sunday, October 27th, 2024.
- US: DST ends a week later, on Sunday, November 3rd, 2024.
During this period, trading sessions for specific instruments will be impacted. All markets will return to their usual schedules starting Monday, November 4th, 2024.
2. Server Time Changes
- Until October 27th, ForFX’s server time remains at GMT +3.
- After October 27th, the server time will stay at GMT +3, even though the FX market will open one hour earlier.
- After November 3rd, the server time will shift to GMT +2, in line with the end of US Daylight-Saving Time.
3. European Instrument Trading
From October 27th to November 3rd, all European instruments will open and close one hour later. Please be aware that trading hours might still change during this period.
